What to do if there is a traffic accident?

1. Stop the car, turn on the hazard lights. Do not enter into conflict with other participants in the accident.

2. Call the traffic police (102), if necessary, - an ambulance (103), fire service (101), emergency services by phone 112 (the call is free, the number is available from a mobile phone with a zero balance).

3. Do not move the vehicle from the accident site, as well as objects related to the accident.

4. Wait for the arrival of the traffic police inspector. Check the complete documentation of the accident by the traffic police, as well as the complete reflection of all damage to the car. Get a certificate of participation in an accident.

5. If possible, get contact information from eyewitnesses of the accident (name, address, phone number, state number of the car).

6. Within 3 working days, inform the insurance company about the occurrence of an accident. Oral communication must be subsequently confirmed in writing within 72 hours.

7. Keep the vehicle damaged as a result of an accident until it is inspected by a representative of the insurance company.

How to get insurance payment after an accident?

1. No later than 3 days after the accident, notify Halyk Insurance Company JSC by phone 797 (free from mobile).

2. Apply for an insured event in a convenient way for you:

3. Submit the following documents to the branch of SK Halyk:

1) Identity card (copy) of the beneficiary.

2) Registration certificate of the injured vehicle (copy).

3) The decision of the Administrative Court, which entered into legal force, or the judgment of the court or the decision to terminate the criminal case (original).

4) A power of attorney for the right to receive money (presented in the original) - in the case when the owner will not receive the payment according to the registration certificate.

5) Bank details (information about the beneficiary's account) for crediting funds (upon receipt of payment by bank transfer).

In case of harm to life or health, the following are additionally provided:

1) Sick leave / discharge letter, etc. (documents confirming harm to health as a result of an accident).

2) Fiscal, sales receipts (documents confirming incurred treatment costs in original)

3) Certificate of the establishment of disability.

4) Death certificate (notarized copy).

IMPORTANTCheck the spelling of the names of the participants in the accident, the registration numbers of the vehicles, the date of the accident in the documents.

4. Submit an application for an assessment of the amount of damage caused and provide the damaged vehicle for inspection by a representative of SK Halyk.

5. Apply for an insurance claim.

Ask the specialists of the insurance company for a certificate of the documents you provided.

If property damage has been caused as a result of unforeseen circumstances?

1. Take all possible measures to prevent an increase in damage, save the insured property and preserve the damaged property in the form in which it appeared after the insured event.

A change in the picture of what happened is permissible if it is dictated by security reasons or by order of (a representative) of the competent state authority.

2. Report the incident to the state body, which is competent to investigate the event, for the latter to take the necessary measures and investigate the incident:

- in case of fire, lightning strike, explosion of household gas used for domestic purposes - to the fire service (tel. 101);

- in case of damage by water from plumbing, sewerage, heating and fire-fighting systems - to the REU, KSK or the corresponding emergency service;

- in case of illegal actions of third parties (burglary, robbery) - to the police (tel. 102);

- in case of natural disasters - to the state emergency body (tel. 112) or KazHydroMet subdivision;

- upon collision with a vehicle - to the traffic police (tel. 102).

3. No later than 72 hours from the moment you learned about the loss, notify the insurance company in any way possible.

4. Provide the insurance company (its representative) with the opportunity to inspect and (or) examine the damaged property, the scene of the accident, as well as investigate the causes of the incident and establish the amount of damage caused.


Note:

Proof of the occurrence of the insured event, as well as the losses caused by it, lies with the Insured.

But you can always contact us for help in settling the loss, ask a question or get additional information by calling the emergency commissioners.

If the insured event occurred abroad as part of the compulsory travel insurance product?

To receive assistance in case of an insured event, you must immediately (personally or through a representative) contact the service company (the link is specified in the insurance certificate) (within 2 (two) days for valid reasons).

Insured:

- taking measures to reduce losses from the insured event;

- proposals, instructions for implementation in the event of an insured event in the event of an insured event assistance company, insurer and other competent persons, bodies in the country of temporary residence;;

- provide the insurer with the available documents necessary to clarify the circumstances of the nature and amount of damage caused by the insured event.

After returning to the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is necessary to apply to the office of the insurer with an application for the insurance payment and provide it:

a copy of the identity document or passport of the insured with the mark of the border checkpoint on crossing the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan and (or) a document that is the basis for the presence of the insured in the insurance territory;

original or notarized copy of the document confirming the occurrence of the insured event and the amount of damage caused to the life and health of the insured, including:

- medical documents containing information on the date of seeking medical care, the state of health of the insured when seeking medical care, diagnosis, appointment (prescription) of a doctor, medical manipulations performed and medicines issued, broken down by quantity, date and cost, indicating the address and contact details of the medical institution and the doctor;

- documents confirming the fact of payment to the insured of medical and other services as a result of the insured event, indicating the amount, currency, date of payment;

- documents confirming the fact of payment indicating the name, quantity and cost of goods and services (receipts, invoices, receipts for payment and other documents ) ;

- in case of an accident-medical documents to establish the fact of use of psychoactive substances and the state of intoxication of the insured;

- in case of an accident-documents of law enforcement, judicial and other competent authorities confirming the fact of the accident and the circumstances of its occurrence.;

- a death certificate indicating the cause of death, the conclusion of a forensic medical examination or the Protocol of a pathological autopsy shall be submitted in the event of the death of the insured;

- documents confirming the cancellation or exchange of travel documents (tickets, boarding passes), refusal of the booked hotel room, as well as refusal of other tourist services issued to the insured for the unused part of the period of stay abroad shall be submitted in case of early return to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a result of compulsory long-term stay in the country (place) of temporary stay or the occurrence of an insured event.;

- travel documents (tickets, boarding passes) - when transporting minor children and (or) close relatives of the insured;

- documents confirming the implementation of telephone calls, messages to the insurer and the assistant of the company by phone numbers specified in the insurance certificate or insurance policy;

- documents confirming the costs associated with the adoption of measures to prevent and reduce costs;

- documents proving the identity and rights of the beneficiary-if necessary.

What if an accident happened abroad with an independent tourist?

After notifying the Service Company, you need to act in accordance with the instructions of the Service Company.

If, due to the emergency or for objective reasons, you could not contact the Service Company, you can independently seek medical help and pay the costs of the medical care provided. In this case, you or your representative must:

-  Take reasonable and affordable measures to reduce losses associated with the insured event.

- Provide documentary registration of the insured event in the competent authorities (depending on the nature of the event, as a result of which harm was caused to the health of the Insured or his death occurred);

- Immediately, as soon as the physical condition allows (within 24 hours from the moment of applying for medical help, but not later than 3 (three) working days from the date of the occurrence of the event, inform the Service Company or the Insurer.

After arriving in the Republic of Kazakhstan, within 30 (thirty) working days, you need to contact the Insurer's office with a written application for the insurance payment and provide:

original insurance policy (duplicate);

originals of medical documents containing information about the diagnosis, state of health of the Insured at the time of seeking medical help, about the manipulations and treatment performed, or a medical document about a disease or other health disorder;

originals of prescriptions, invoices, receipts for payment of medical services;

documents confirming the fact and reasons for the occurrence of an insured event

in case of road traffic accidents - copies / originals of acts of the traffic police / militia;

in the event of harm caused by third parties - a resolution on attracting as a victim;

in case of fire - fire act;

a copy of the foreign passport of the insured with marks of border control on crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the country that is the territory of insurance;

identity documents of the Insured / Beneficiary and the right to receive insurance benefits;

originals or copies of air and railway tickets, as well as tickets for water or road transportation;

in case of death of the Insured, you must additionally provide:

copies of documents provided for by legislative or regulatory enactments containing data on the cause of death of the Insured (forensic medical examination report, death certificate indicating the cause);

original or copy of death certificate;

documents confirming the repatriation of the Insured's body: act of transportation of the body - cargo 200, receipts, receipts confirming the costs of embalming the body, delivery of the body, cost of the coffin, funeral company services, consulting services.

The documents must be provided with a translation into the state or Russian language with the seal of the translation agency.

Упрощенный порядок урегулирования страховых случаев «Европротокол»

Стартовал запуск мобильного приложения "Европротокол" при содействии Агентства по регулированию и развитию финансового рынка и страховых организаций, которое изменит взаимодействие между страховыми организациями и клиентами. После получения результатов тестового запуска и корректировки работы начнется полноценная эксплуатация с 1 января 2024 года. Эту информацию официально сообщает Фонд гарантирования страховых выплат, ответственный за разработку приложения. 

"Европротокол" предоставляет пользователю возможность оформления ДТП без участия дорожной полиции в случаях несерьезных аварий, где виновник и размер ущерба очевидны. Скачав приложение из App Store или Google Play, можно оформить страховой случай самостоятельно, как физическому, так и юридическому лицу, включая нерезидентов Республики Казахстан.

При каких условия применяется Европротокол? 

• Сумма ремонта пострадавшей стороны на 2024 год не превышает 369 тысяч тенге (не выше 100 МРП);

• Не причинен вред жизни или здоровью граждан;

• В результате ДТП повреждены только транспортные средства (без ущерба другому имуществу);

• У обоих участников аварии действующие полисы обязательного автострахования;

• Отсутствуют разногласия между водителями относительно перечня повреждений и обстоятельств дорожной аварии;

• Мобильные номера участников ДТП зарегистрированы в Базе мобильных граждан.

Этапы оформления:

• Участники проходят авторизацию в мобильном приложении;

• Указывают дату, время и место ДТП. 

• Вводят данные виновного в ДТП и водителя.

• Вводят данные транспортного средства: пробег, VIN-код. 

• Делают общие фото улицы и транспортного средства с госномером с четырех сторон.

• Отмечают места повреждения.

• Ожидают подтверждения от системы.

С момента запуска приложения все необходимые документы, координаты аварии и фотографии повреждений будут автоматически передаваться в единую систему в неизменном виде через приложение. К этим данным будет доступ у страховых компаний, которые смогут быстрее обрабатывать такие заявки. При этом пострадавшая сторона освобождается от сбора стандартного набора документов для подачи на получение страховой выплаты. В случае одобрения выплаты поступят в среднем в течении 6 дней.
