The Europrotocol mobile application is being launched in test mode!

The launch of the Europrotocol mobile application has begun with the assistance of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market and Insurance Companies, which will change the interaction between insurance companies and clients. After receiving the results of the test run and adjusting the work, full operation will begin on January 1, 2024. This information is officially reported by the Insurance Payment Guarantee Fund, which is responsible for developing the application.

The Europrotocol application provides the user with the opportunity to register a road traffic accident without the participation of the traffic police in cases of minor accidents, where the guilty person and the extent of damage are obvious. By downloading the application from App Store or Google Play, an insured event can be registered independently by an individual or a legal entity, including non-residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Under what conditions does the Europrotocol apply?
• The amount of repairs for the injured party for 2024 does not exceed 369 thousand tenge (not exceeding 100 MCI);
• No harm was caused to the life or health of citizens;
• As a result of the accident, only vehicles were damaged (without damage to other property);
• Both participants in the accident have valid compulsory auto insurance policies;
• There are no disagreements between drivers regarding the list of damages and circumstances of the road accident;
• Mobile numbers of road accident participants are registered in the Mobile Citizens Database.

Stages of registration:
• Authorization of the participants in the mobile application;
• Indication of the date, time and location of the accident.
• Entering the details of the person responsible for the accident and the driver.
• Entering the vehicle data: mileage, VIN code.
• Taking the general photos of the street and the vehicle with a license plate from four sides.
• Marking the places of damage.
• Waiting for confirmation from the system.

From the time the application is launched, all necessary documents, the road traffic accident coordinates and photographs of damages will be automatically transferred to a unified system in an unchanged form via the application. Insurance companies will have access to this data and will be able to process such claims faster. In this case, the injured party is exempt from collecting the standard set of documents for claiming insurance indemnities. If approved, the payments will be received within 6 days on average.
