The object of insurance is the property interests of the Insured related to the possession, use and / or disposal of railway transport.
Subject to insurance:
- Traction train: locomotives, motor cars, diesel trains, self-propelled cars (traction train) and other means of railway transport that can move on railway tracks by the force of its own traction;
- Rolling stock: passenger and freight cars, tanks, platforms and other means of railway transport intended for the transport of passengers and goods and not able to independently move along railway lines.
- Track repair machines, and other machines designed for work on the railways and moving along the railways, excluding port and construction cranes.
The amount of the insurance premium payable under the insurance contract is calculated according to insurance rates that determine the rate of the insurance premium charged from the insurance amount unit, taking into account the insurance object and the nature of the insurance risk.

The insurance payment is carried out in the amount of real damage caused to the Policyholder (the Insured, Beneficiary) as a result of an insured event, but not more than the insurance amount specified in the insurance contract, taking into account the deductible specified in the insurance contract. Only direct property damage caused to the Policyholder as a result of loss, destruction or damage of the insured railway shall be compensated.
