Insured events
If property damage has been caused as a result of unforeseen circumstances?

1. Take all possible measures to prevent an increase in damage, save the insured property and preserve the damaged property in the form in which it appeared after the insured event.

A change in the picture of what happened is permissible if it is dictated by security reasons or by order of (a representative) of the competent state authority.

2. Report the incident to the state body, which is competent to investigate the event, for the latter to take the necessary measures and investigate the incident:

- in case of fire, lightning strike, explosion of household gas used for domestic purposes - to the fire service (tel. 101);

- in case of damage by water from plumbing, sewerage, heating and fire-fighting systems - to the REU, KSK or the corresponding emergency service;

- in case of illegal actions of third parties (burglary, robbery) - to the police (tel. 102);

- in case of natural disasters - to the state emergency body (tel. 112) or KazHydroMet subdivision;

- upon collision with a vehicle - to the traffic police (tel. 102).

3. No later than 72 hours from the moment you learned about the loss, notify the insurance company in any way possible.

4. Provide the insurance company (its representative) with the opportunity to inspect and (or) examine the damaged property, the scene of the accident, as well as investigate the causes of the incident and establish the amount of damage caused.


Note:

Proof of the occurrence of the insured event, as well as the losses caused by it, lies with the Insured.
